Unlike the ReSpeaker 2-Mics Pi HAT, this board is developed based on the AC108, a highly integrated four-channel ADC with I2S / TDM output switching for high resolution audio capture. Also, this 4 Mics version provides a super cool LED ring containing 12 APA102 programmable LEDs. With these 4 microphones and LED rings, the Raspberry Pi will have the ability to do VAD (Sound Activity Detection) like Amazon Echo or Google Home, predict DOA (Direction of Arrival) and show direction through LED ring.
